Best Cleric

With the inherent complexity of the Rift game, it is very difficult to identify one build as the best build for a specific class. The main driver behind every Rift build is the role that the build is supposed to play and in this regard, every build is different. The best way to anoint the best build for a specific soul class, say, the Best Cleric Build Rift, is to dissect each of the more prominent roles on Rift and use that in proposing an ideal build for the role to be played by that character.
No discussion of the Best Cleric Build Rift will be complete without talking about healing builds from the Rift class. Clerics enjoy the enviable advantage of having three healing souls that you can choose to form one healing build for primary healing duties in a group raid or dungeon quest. These souls - the Sentinel, Warden, and Purifier - excel in different facets of healing as well as the source for their healing process so players can basically alternate the main souls depending on their preferences. Wardens excel at healing over time spells, Sentinels for healing spells that affect a large area and Purifiers for direct healing spells on, say, a primary tank. Typical examples of these Best Cleric Build Rift for healing include Sentinel (40) - Purifier (26) - Warden (0), Warden (32) - Sentinel (22) - Purifier (12), and Purifier (34) - Sentinel (32) - Templar (0) where the PvP specialized Templar soul is added for a combination of personal defense without compromising healing abilities.
Another excellent role for Clerics to focus on is being a DPS character in a group setting. DPS characters excel at dealing damage; hence they are typically built to dish out a lot of punishment to opposing enemies. The Clerics can also rely on a lot of offensive souls to get them going, particularly the Cabalist, Druid, Inquisitor and Shaman. These characters are masters at wreaking havoc on the battlefield and any combination of these souls can easily produce a ranged or close-combat player with deadly damage capabilities. When looking to pick a pet for battling, use the Druid soul paired with Shaman and Inquisitor or Cabalist for best results.
An important point to remember for DPS characters is that they are compromised on defense to be able to give the most amounts of points to offensive skills. As such, they need to be in the constant company of a healer or tank to be able to survive for prolonged periods. Bear this consideration in mind so you can play within the confines of the group setup and focus on dealing damage while healers and tanks take care of ensuring that your health bar remains up.
Lastly, solo and leveling builds require the perfect balance of offense and defense. When leveling, you cannot turn to anyone else for help; hence it is absolutely important to not compromise a specific facet of your game in favor of another. The best Cleric build rift will put together two offensive souls and a healing soul to maintain the damage for quicker mob turnarounds while still ensuring that you can survive or heal from all the punishment dealt by opposing troops. Consider build a Druid (36) - Shaman (29) - Warden (0) combination. Another advantage of healing souls is that they possess a variety of zero-point abilities to simply choosing them as an off-soul can already bring massive benefits to your build.
Toy around with these options for the Best Cleric Build Rift. Remember that the role you are going to play will dictate the best build for your character. Be mindful of your place and build a proper spec accordingly.
