Just in time to heat up your summertime fun, the City Ville Hotel landed on the beach, and nothing will ever be the same! This has to be one of the best features Zynga has ever added to the game. And, perhaps, one of the most challenging. As with a lot of the other businesses, as you upgrade your City Ville Beach Hotel it becomes more and more profitable. But, OH! What it takes to accomplish those upgrades!
First you have to place your Hotel and build it. It takes 7 Energy Points to construct and then you need to find a few special items before you can open the doors: 8 Slippers or Bath Robes, 8 Beach Towels, 5 Toiletries, 5 Satin Pillows and 5 Sunglasses. And if that wasn't enough, now you'll have to stock your Hotel with 500 Goods in order to get the place up and running.
Now comes the hard part - working toward your first upgrade. Before you can accomplish the first upgrade to a High Price Hotel, you have to harvest your Hotel 10 times. You'll need to have 500 guests check in for each harvest. You'll also need to collect even more items from your friends and neighbors and you'll have to place at least 5 businesses around your Hotel.
If that sounds a little daunting, wait until you see what you need to do for the next upgrade!
After you've upgraded to a High Price Hotel you'll need to harvest your Hotel 25 times before you can upgrade again. (Don't worry though - you're first 10 harvests count toward this goal.) And now, you'll need 1,000 guests before you can harvest and you'll need 1,000 Goods to restock each time. Not to mention you'll also need to request the following items from your friends and neighbors: 8 Beach Towels, 8 Building Grants, 8 Toiletries, 9 Beach Cabanas and 15 Slippers.
Getting those 1,000 guests seems like a pretty stiff requirement but if you completely surround your Hotel with businesses and keep them stocked at all times you'll see that number climb quickly.
Is it worth all this trouble to upgrade your City Ville Hotel? You bet! Not only does your surrounding business make more coins faster, but you'll earn a minimum of 4,650 coins each time you harvest the Hotel itself. Add in the premium you'll earn with a few well-placed decorations and the sky's the limit.
But who really cares about all that? It's all about the fun time you'll have completing this challenge and it's a great way to pass those lazy, hazy, crazy summer days!
