Rift Classes and Races


Rift presents a wide selection of challenges to the user that is over guaranteed to give you a nice dose of adventure and fun but the thing that makes these challenges worthwhile are the Rift classes and races that give each build a matchless approach to playing the game. Without these character traits that make a character special, you will be stuck with monotonous process to getting the job done; with the current way the game is designed, you can in lieu experience different facets of the game, play different roles, and take up different challenges all by changing the class or choosing a different race for your character.
But before taking the time to understand Rift classes and races, it is important to discover the bedrock of the Rift classes and races process - the Rift factions. Put basically, rift factions are the driving ideologies that push the game forward. These factions are the Guardians and the Defiant. The Guardians are servants of the higher gods of Telara while the Defiant are renegade groups of individualistic armies who trust their own instinct over faith to a higher power. From these Rift factions are both the Rift races; Dwarf, High Elf and Malthusians for the Guardians, Bahmi, Eth and Kelari for the Defiant.
Each of the races possesses a special moment, stat, and resistance buff which grants them affinity to sure Rift classes. For example, the Bahmi are inclined to being excellent Warrior or melee Cleric characters because they possess strength buffs. This is also true for the Dwarf on the Guardian side. You will notice that each of these races then mirror a specific race from the other faction, namely the High Elf and the Eth are strikingly similar to each other and the same being true for the Kelari and the Malthusians.
But the true skill of each of the Rift builds is tracked down to the classes which complete the Rift classes and races process. Each of the races has access to the same class definitions: Warriors, Cleric, Rogue, and Mages. Each of the class has 8 soul definitions which can be mixed and matched by combining up to souls in character to generate a player build. Each combination of the souls grants the character access to the Soul Tree which is where obtaining talents and skills and capabilities are done. Basically put, when you select a specific class, you are pre-destined to follow a specific path or role on the Planes of Telara but the variation in your build lets you configure your character as you like.
Understanding this inherent attribute of the Rift classes and races technique is rooted on understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each Rift class. Warriors are excellent offensive and defensive units that excel at close combat with or two-handed weapons. Clerics, on the other hands, are more versatile magic wielders with both assault and healing attributes. Mages are the most dedicated of all magic wielders drawing power from the elements to channel their strength. Mages also depend on creatures and pets to generate stunning assault and defense skills that are hard to penetrate and can be executed from a distance. Finally, Rogues are melee masters employing hit-and-run tactics to perfection and seldom staying in the open long to be attacked.
The complexity of the Rift classes and races technique cannot be covered within news story itself and greater knowledge and understanding of each of the player strengths need a thorough study of the attributes that make each of the Rift classes and races special. Take your time to learn the subtleties of the Rift characters but do not be afraid to learn on the fly by being on the ground and trying your luck. The thirst of the hunt and the heat of the battle will teach you a whole lot of knowledge about the Planes of Telara. Use this to your advantage to craft the best character build that will bring Telara to a better existence.
