WoW Death Knight Macro

If you have played World of War craft longer than a few months, you already know that to be good as a Death Knight, you need to know how to play the class. It's not enough to just press buttons and throw random spells at your opponent. You need to know the exact strategy for each fight, and also do what you need to do fast. That's where a Wow Death Knight macro comes into play.
Macros consist of several commands line. Each line represents a hotkey. You can add all sorts of commands to a Wow macro. You can cast harmful spells on enemy targets or beneficial spells on friendliest, and all of that with just one button. Here is an example of a Death Knight macro that shows that:
#show tooltip
/cast [target=mouse over, exists] Strangulate; Strangulate
/cast [target=mouse over, exists] Mind Freeze; Mind Freeze
The macro will cast Strangulate on the target you have your mouse over, or on your selected target. If Strangulate is on cool down, then it will do the exact same thing only using Mind Freeze.
Here are the benefits of using such a Death Knight macro.
  • You will have greater freedom of movement. You won't have to select another target in order to suppress it with Strangulate. You can just hold the mouse over it and press the macro. This is of great help in situations where you have to fight more enemies.
  • You will be able to act and react a lot faster. Instead of having to reach for a key to use either of the spells, you just press the macro and it will cast the available one.
  • You can use the same Wow macro template to create other macros for burst damage. It's essential to be able to dump all of your offensive spells at once on a target. The only way to do this properly is with a Death Knight macro.
  • You can add a cast sequence to make a skill rotation that will make sure you use all the abilities you need in any fight. You won't have to worry about not having time to use everything ever again.
  • Such macros for Wow will make you a better player. No matter how new you are in the game. By using any types of macros, you will get faster simply because the way they are made.
I'm sure that in many fights you needed only a second more to win the battle. You probably lose such fights because you don't use your needed skills fast enough. A player that uses macros will always be faster than one that doesn't. That's why I always tell players who start playing the DK, to use a Death Knight macro.
Getting the right macros isn't hard at all. There is software out there that will give you the best macros and key bindings for any class and any talent build.
