Know The Zerg:
The Zerg is a unique race composed of many different species integrated into the swarm via zerg infestation. These creatures are rapidly and selectively evolved into deadly and efficient killers. The zerg make no use of technology to create their weapons, or armor, or starships. Instead, these functions are efficiently fulfilled through some biological adaptation and planned mutation of the zerg strains. Even zerg buildings are in fact specialized organs within the living, growing organism of a zerg nest.

1st thing to understand is that the Zerg are designed to be cheap and fast, meaning they have speedy construction of a large number of units, they are less expensive, quickly trained, made in masses, and easier to produce than their terran and protoss counterparts, therefore you should be aiming for overwhelming the enemy through massing With this said please mind the fact that the Zerg units are generally weaker in terms of the damage they can withstand so keep training large troops.
The Drones are the Zerg workers. Since drones must sacrifice themselves to become the structure you wish to build you should keep in mind that making constant drone production is very important, give it a special focus at the beginning of the game.
Always expand the creep! All of the zerg buildings (beside the hatchery) must be built on their layer of growth called the creep. Creep colonies expand the creep, and can also be mutated into defensive structures. Make sure to expend the creep since the zerg are limited by it space.
The zerg are much faster to train compared to the other two races but relatively weak. You should try to get as much as you can at the early game stage (this stage is when the Zerg have the advantage), attack your enemy as soon as you can and often, especially his workers.
Do a combination of zerglings with bane lings to break your enemy defense. First send the bane lings to swarm and destroy the protective structures, and then send the mass zerglings to add the final blow to the opponent. Bane lings take up more gas, but the rush technique is pretty much the same as with zerglings. In addition they also require a paneling’s nest.
Winning matches as zerg demands you have to focus on your Zerg build order. By producing units as quickly as possible, and then rush your opponent to destroy their resource intake. This Start by maxing out your drones and morph an overlord to increase your infantry capabilities. Build three more drones, and then an extractor and a spawning pool.
Continue building drones, as well as a queen. The idea behind this is to keep exponentially gaining resources.
