Horde Leveling Guide: 10-20

Since the release of the WoW expansion Cataclysm, Azeroth was changed forever. Not only did the land itself change, the questing zones and quests have changed significantly. This caused lots of confusion for me and lots of other experienced players. World of Warcraft has always been of the few games where leveling a brand new character could bring a brand new experience each time. Since the game has been out for so lots of years it was a pleasant change, however it left lots of players frustrated. Leveling can be simple though, with the right tools. I always have a nice Horde leveling guide helping me every step of the way. Leveling from 1-10 is straight forward, because most of the quests are handed to you instantly. This is a fast Horde leveling guide for levels 10-20

10 - 20 Quest Zones

There's areas which will provide the best experience for Horde at levels 10-20: the Northern Barrens, Silverpine Forest, Ghostlands, and Azshara.

Northern Barrens: The Northern Barrens is located outside of Orgrimmar and can be accessed through the west gate. The Barrens has been of the most popular quest zones for low level characters since day. The sizable majority of the quests can be started at The Crossroads and Ratchet.

Silverpine Forest: Silverpine Forest has changed drastically since Cataclysm. There's flight paths located in this zone, Forsaken High Command, Forsaken Rear Guard, The Sepulcher, and The Forsaken Front. It is important to learn all of the flight paths; this will save lots of time in the long run. The simplest way to start questing in this zone is through the Warchief's Command Board located north of the Undercity in Brill. The sizable majority of the quests from levels 10-20 will be obtained at Forsaken Rear Guard and The Sepulcher.

Ghostlands: Ghostlands is close to the city of Silvermoon, which is home of the Blood Elf's. In case you are not a Blood Elf, this ought to be your last choice for questing from 10-20. The simplest way to start questing in the Ghostlands is through the Warchief's Command Board located in Silvermoon.

Azshara: Azshara is located outside of Orgrimmar and can be accessed through the rear gate. This zone has flight paths being Bilgewater Harbor (located at the middle island). The other flight paths can be found to the north east, west, and south of Bilgewater Harbor. The simplest way to start on Azshara quests is through the Warchief's Command Board located in Thunder Bluff.

Other Leveling Tips:

There's several ways to make leveling faster and simpler. I personally like to make use of in-game add-ons which tell me exactly where to go and the location of the next quest. The features already built in to the game are basic in my view and do not provide information about each quest. of my favourite tools is Zygor Guides. As a Horde leveling guide it not only tells me exactly where to go at each level, it also tells me where to spend my talent points. This is important when leveling, because there's definite talent points that are designed for solo questing which can greatly impact your experience. It is also essential to have an up to date add-on due to the lots of changes that have taken place since the release of Cataclysm. My last piece of advice when using a Horde leveling guide is flexibility. A nice Horde leveling guide will work with any class and race combination.
