Abilities to macro if you play a warrior

1.      Stances. If you play a warrior, you must change stances depending on the battle situation. Each stance allows you to cast certain cool downs and use certain combat styles. Do you agree that hitting the stance button, then the abilities that you have to use takes much more time than just hitting a macro? Especially in arena, this will earn you precious seconds and put your team into advantage.

2.      Cool downs. On each stance you have various cool downs. To these abilities you can add your trinkets. Now, usually the defensive cool downs must be managed and it's not a good idea to macro them. However, the damage-boost cool downs should be all casted at the same time, to allow your warrior to deal as much damage possible in the shortest time possible.

3.      Threat abilities. This stands especially for tanking. This role is a bit tedious, not many players like it, that's why there's always a shortage of tanks. However, you can simplify your tanking at maximum, by combining your threat generating skills and Aloe skills in a sequence macro. This way you will be able to play your tank with only 1-2 Wow warrior macros, pushing only 1-2 buttons.

Macros to use as a warrior

I use 3 main types of macros:

1. CD-burn macros: these usually combine 2-3 damaging abilities or item abilities, allowing me to create a DPS burst;
2. Sequence macros: the ones I mentioned above for tanking. Of course, you can combine sequence abilities for DPS too, for a better rotation;
3. Bar-change macros: each stance unlocks certain abilities. Therefore, most warriors have use quick bar change macros for each stance. When a stance is cast, the macro will take you to a quick bar that has all the abilities available on that stance;

Now, it's not easy to create your own Wow warrior macros, and I kind of hit a wall too when I was trying to build some of the ones I now use. However, I have found a shortcut for this.
